Transformation Consultant (Operating Model), London, £80K - £100K plus bonus/benefits - London

My client, a global prestigious Financial Services firm, are about to embark on a major transformation programme. The programme will ultimately drive the business transformation agenda in the organisation by embedding a new way of working and fundamentally changing how the company does business. This programme will solely be focused on transforming the firm's core Operating Model, which will improve the delivery of products and refine the way the company does general business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Highly competent at managing a complex portfolio of people, process and technology projects and tracking through to successful conclusion/benefits realisation.
  • Ability to analyse and optimise business processes to enhance service, quality and productivity.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Contribute to the blueprint and organisational design from an organisational change, future capability and people impact perspective
  • Support change governance, apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities. Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to understand key stakeholder groups and key messages for each group
  • Conduct detailed impact analyses with the programme work streams, in terms of people/ behaviours, systems, process, culture, capabilities
  • Recognised in the business as a go-to person for information and/or advice in the context of business transformation
  • Maintaining highly effective regular stakeholder contact through face-to-face, written and oral communication


Key Skills

  • Excellent financial, quantitative and analytical skills with a degree of numeracy and previous exposure to financial budgeting.
  • Experience working on implementation/design/delivery of Operating Model
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communications
  • Ability to listen to and resolve customer issues whilst preserving positive relationships
  • Strong people skills in frequently creating and maintaining relationships with various types of individuals within the business and at different levels
  • A strong organiser - able to manage time without supervision to ensure deadlines are achieved and multi-tasking abilities in balancing a number of priorities at any one time
  • Experience of managing multiple projects within a complex professional environment
  • Extensive experience in business analysis, process improvement and / or change management
