Our client, a leading player in its market is currently looking for a PMO Manager for one of its most high profile programmes. The programme is in its infancy at the moment and therefore, there is the need to implement appropriate governance structures and provide guidance on the overall structure of the programme.
You will be required to create a programme plan in a low maturity environment, but there is the expectation that you will be able to provide input into new tools that could be implemented to support successful programme delivery.
Upon set up, you will be required to provide regular reports to the programme lead as well as senior management, ensuring that they receive the relevant information to aid their decision making processes. Managing risks and issues as well as potential interdependencies is an absolute must, as is the ability to manage the programme plan.
You will be a strong communicator at all levels of the business and be able to gather information from the business in an effective manner. There is no specific subject matter experience required, but you must have experience managing business transformation programmes as opposed to pure technology programmes.
