ERUPT Stockholm: Adapt and Thrive

On 13th October as part of our ERUPT event series, The BTN hosted an interesting virtual panel session on adapting and thriving in the current climate.

ERUPT: Adapt and Thrive gathered HR and Technology professionals to engage, network and share thoughts around the topic of ‘Adapt and Thrive’.

Our panel (shown below) discusses a variety of questions presented by the host, whilst also taking on some questions that our attendees were posing on the virtual event platform.

The panel started by looking at the learnings they have all taken from the past few months, considering the change in driver for employees (which is becoming more purpose and progression driven), how we maintain connections amongst employees during extended remote working, mental wellbeing and much more.

The concept of the event, adapt and thrive is integral to companies at the moment as agility and crisis response has become a major focus for most, if not all, organisations in the current climate. The conversation was driven around mental wellbeing whilst working remotely and the support that organisations can and should offer to ensure that they’re people are not only coping, but are thriving.

Our panellist explored a variety of topics, with a large focus on the extended ‘new’ normal which is covering a longer period of time than we initially thought, looking at how we can support our employees through this, continue to keep them connected and motivated, whilst also driving a business that is successfully adapting and thriving.

Our panel also considered the digital transformation piece all organisations have faced during this, speeding up processes and advancements in technology, that may have already been planned, exponentially and how organisations are embracing and dealing with this.
