In Part 1 of this exclusive video series in partnership with CoachHub, Sharon Clews (Interim Director Learning and Organisational Development at Warner Bros. Entertainment) discusses accelerating women in leadership. This part focuses on the most important skills that women need to be successful in leadership, emphasising the importance of confidence and self-love, assertiveness and the ability to negotiate in leadership roles. Sharon looks at where imposter syndrome stems from, the role of networking in leadership and how networking skills link to empathy and vulnerability which is key to women’s role in leadership.

Sharon also looks into the reasons why women are doing so well in leadership at the moment, focusing on the importance of being able to put yourself into the other person’s shoes whilst also looking at the role of trust and the importance of practising compassion, empathy and vulnerability as a leader.
