Our next TTN event will be held on the 16th October at the Royal Overseas League London.  We will have a guest presentation and workshop delivered by Peter Thomas, Director at Thomas Technology Associates Ltd and Debbie Evans, Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  It promises to be a great evening.  To join us please register your interest to our Events Manager sophie@annapurnarecruitment.com.

To the right is an exclusive video preview of what promises to be an exciting event!

Abstract:
2 years ago we began our journey with Acceptance Test Driven Development and Specification by Example. We went through the painful transition of asking our users to forget what they previously knew about articulating requirements and start using examples, which we then automated using Cucumber. A short time into our journey we started to wonder if we were getting the benefits we originally envisaged... With users still performing manual UAT, BA’s creating written procedure documents, and hundreds of tests written in a mix of styles…, clearly we weren't...

This talk will go through the issues we faced, the benefits we weren't realising, and how we changed to get the most out of the ATDD process.  This will be followed by a workshop where attendees can practice the concepts with their own requirements or provided examples.
